  14. My friend is looking to buy a modem for her PowerMac.  Based  on my
  15. limited experience, I am recommending the SupraFAX 288 (mine works fine). 
  16. I was wondering if there are any opinions regarding the Platinum (I know
  17. GV has great software + OCR).  The primary concern is usage as a data
  18. modem (i.e. high throughput).  Also, can anyone recommend where we might
  19. find the best price for either/both?
